It works because the control data on EDACS or LTR sends the users to an
LCN # which is also where the scanner will be directed.
Remember lets say you know the LCNs of your system. On the 250D for
example: the freq for LCN 3 must be programed into channel 3 like 003 or
103 or 203, LCN 5 must be programmed into 005 or 105 or 205 whatever
bank you are using.
This does work and I did not figure it out it was given to me by someone
years ago
