[TheForge] Math

Speaking of math, my truck battery, bought from Advance Auto Parts was
2years and 2months old when it croaked. It is a 72 month battery and cost
$64.00. After spending an hour and a half there, the genius said the pro
rated amount to replace it would be $64.00. (That's what the computer said).
When I protested he was real surly, and rather than take his empty head off,
I left. By FSU math it should cost about $23.04.

About 3 tons, can't you do the math? I use 0.3 pounds per cubic inch.(.28
is a little better) 14 feet equals 168 inches, 7 foot 7 equals 91 inches,
So the volume is equal to 168 x 91 x 1.25 = 19110 cubic inches. Take the
volume times 0.3 equals 5733 pounds or a little less than 3 tons.
