Computers are only as smart as the people that program them, sometimes
smarter<G>.

I had a girl try to charge me $4.28 for a loaf a bread last week. It didn't
scan, she read the sticker on the side, and entered it. No thought about it
at all. When I complained, she still stood fast. It was only after she
asked the manager that she agreed that it was $0.99. She had seen the date
code and "assumed" it was the price.

Speaking of math, my truck battery, bought from Advance Auto Parts was
2years and 2months old when it croaked. It is a 72 month battery and cost
$64.00. After spending an hour and a half there, the genius said the pro
rated amount to replace it would be $64.00. (That's what the computer said).
When I protested he was real surly, and rather than take his empty head off,
I left. By FSU math it should cost about $23.04.
