[Clegg] Venus, if you will

The one thing I remember about the Venus in the 60's was the drift. A few of
the locals with $$ bought them and werent very happy with support from
Clegg.

Back then I used a CE 10A driving a HB 6J6, 6AQ5, 815 TX converter from 20M
into a converted NCL-2000 which I still use with a modified HA-6.

A HB 6DS4, 417A, 6EA8 RX converter into a 75A4 took care of that end. I
still have both.

I use a Zeus and Interceptor B on AM and the receiver is HOT as Todd has
mentioned. The Zeus is so stable Ive used it many times in SSB-AM QSO's with
many not even realizing I was on AM.
