The VFO seems to be well designed and built using a 6DJ8 mounted on the 
outside of the box, and of course the silky-smooth Eddystone dial makes 
it nice to use.  Maybe Clegg did end up making some improvements....

That's good to hear Carl, as that'll be coming up next in my restoration 
queue.  I agree with comments about the Interceptor B, although I 
haven't used it a couple of years.  I remember having fun with it on HF 
using the All Bander converter.   I've never had my Zeus on the air, and 
I need to go over the power supply and modulator first.  The 
interconnecting cable was missing and I made one up when I first got it 
years ago, but I think I'll revisit that too before I give it the juice.   

These are the "gold dust twins" of VHF in my book, so it will be fun to 
get them on the air once the sun starts to cooperate a bit more.
