Never saw one of those Comets, but I do remember Ed's personal work area
in the manufacturing location where he said he dabbled in prototypes. Ed
and I also talk on the phone several times back in the 90's to reminisce
the "good old days" and also do some wheeling and dealing on some stuff
he was looking to find a new home. In thinking back, I also worked with,
at our real jobs, Ed Ladd, the designer of the LI'L LuLu receiver and
transmitter, and had many personal contacts with him since he lived only
about 15 miles from me. I also knew the original owner of Polytronics.
Geeze, I must be old as dirt.

I don't have an documentation on the Apollo conversion. I seem to
remember Steve, WB2WIK/6, years ago pointing me to someone up in North
Jersey but I never followed up on it.
