: Thanks to everyone that responded giving clues of what to look for. I : tried 3 Mic's, swapped elements. My touch tones work, I found out that : tones go in on a separate lead. Its some thing in radio. Bent pin in the mic jack? Debris or some sort of scum preventing electrical connection? I've seen both many times with many rigs over the years. Kurt
