		Some owners of FT-897 have experienced a similar problem as a result =
of SWR foldback. In the 897, foldback is determined by the amount of =
reflected power. When it exceeds a set amount, the RF output folds back. =
On SSB, the power folds back on voice peaks, but not on weak syllables. =
One work around is to reduce the RF output so that the reflected power =
drops below the fold-back point. Good luck!
