[Yaesu] VX 7R Mike Gain

Anyone know how to change the mike gain on a VX 7R. 6 Guys have
told me about low deviation and muffled audio. I tried the service menu,
but couldn't get it to work. I could see the Mike Gain or whatever, but
couldn't move it from 85.

I got there by holding the function key, zero, and internet, while powering 
on, but I can't seem to change the values.
