[Yaesu] Mars mod on ft-847

Thanks to all on all the help on my 847. I now know that the mars mod on the rig caused the ars to go away.
 Question How do I reversr the mod? I gather there was a small smt resister removed? and then the pads soldered together? the mod page is not clear as how to reverse the mod. If I has to go back to yaesu ,I will return the rig to the seller. I have never had much success with sm parts,too small for me and except for yaesu have no source for the sm resister that was removed?
 Any help on reversing this mod ...I would be greatful.
