[Yaesu] 1000DFilter Choice

First, thank you for the response on the serial numbers. This radio is a '98 
build. The seller claimed a 2000 purchase, so I guess it was on the shelf for 
a while.

I see that I can still buy the Yaesu 250 CW filter for it. Has there been any 
comment here as to weather the INRAD filter is better or worse?
I am usually buying now with the idea of having to selling someday. I would 
like to hear if there is some stigma attached to non-Yaesu optional equipment. 

I know INRAD has a good reputation and also still see Collins guys paying big 
money for 40 year old original filters to put in their A-4's.
