[Yaesu] Service Assistance

I once required some parts for a faulty transceiver which was years out of
warrantee. This was in the days before email and I wrote to Japan, listing
the components and enquiring about availability. Yaesu never sent me a
reply, but they sent all the components on my shopping list - free of
charge.

About two years ago a friend required a HAND mic for his mobile transceiver.
I made enquiries by email to Japan and they requested his mailing address.
A few weeks later he received a CORDLESS mic in the mail - free of charge.

Now I have a VCR that needs fixing ...
