[Yaesu] FT-900 Mobil?

I used mine mobile in my Windstar for a while. I used the separation kit,
and the main unit sat on the floor, partially under the driver's seat. I
grounded it to one of the bolts holding the seat to the floor. The thick
carpet held it in place, and it never moved. I never missed the controls
that were on the main unit. I mounted the front panel to the center console
using a few PVC plumbing pieces painted flat black. With the threaded
pieces, I was able to rotate the mounting bracket for the front panel to
face the driver or the passenger seat. An old Motorola mobile speaker was
mounted to the vertical pipe that held the faceplate mounting bracket,
providing good audio pointed at the driver.
