[Yaesu] FT847 Raspy SSB

The standard cord on my rig was something like 12' - probably meant for a
mobile installation... now it's about the 36 inches needed to get to the
PS.... and this thread is making me want to rearrange the desk and get the
PS right next to the rig and shorted the power leads.

The long wire... the -847 can be a 'mobile',  However, Yaesu does not
provide a mobile mounting bracket & screws with the 12' cord.  Anywho...me
thinks it's too complex for HF while driving...

Maybe, just maybe... if I'm a verrrrry good boy.. Santa will being me a new
12 port RigRunner with Anderson Powerpole connectors this year.......maybe,
just maybe, if I leave a copy of this email on the kitchen counter, then
maybe, just maybe Santa will maybe plllllleeease see it.
