[Wswss] Mini-expedition to hilltop in CM95

N6MU and N6NB are planning a mini-expedition 
to a hilltop near San Luis Obispo tomorrow 
(Tuesday, 12/12/06) for the northern 
California 902/1296 nets.

We will have 10 bands in my new rover 
vehicle, with vacuum tube kilowatts on 
6 and 2 plus solid state amps on 222, 432,
902, 1296, 2304 and 10368, with low  
power (1-2 watts) on 3456 and 5760.  The 
power output is about 80 watts on 902 and 
50 on 1296.  We have small directional 
antennas on all bands.

Look for us in DM04 and DM05 in the late 
afternoon as we go up I-5 then west on 
S.R. 46 into CM95.  We hope to be on the 
hill by 7 p.m.  We should have a clear shot 
up the Salinas Valley to the Bay Area and 
Sacramento Valley plus a fair shot to the 
south toward L.A. and San Diego.
