Good evening members and friends. 

I'm Ken KG6OMZ Member number 530.]

I want to give a Special thanks to David KI6FF the founder of the Western
States Weak Signal Society and for all, who help him get started.

For the members who devoted a lot of their precious time and efforts for the
club, conventions, and the community, and keeping WSWSS active through the
years, Thank you very much. 

To make a Club work:

A Club can continue, only if there's Hams willing to devote their time and
efforts with full trust, and communicating with each other, by keeping in
formed, and fulfilling their promises. 

Member of the board and off the Board, need to treat this like a business
hobby, not just a hobby who cares attitude. Even if it's none profit who
caries, still treat this with special care. Remember! You are doing this for
the community, fellow Hams, besides your self. 

If the board members need some assistance from the members and you can help,
please do so. Members are the number two key players that make the club
work.

Problems you think came from the board, may have started from lack of
membership participation off the board. 

Older members been there done the job for the longest time will be respected
and well liked. It's not their fault the club is sinking.

But it does not have to be in quicksand. 

I'm a board member of TCARA, and I know for a fact! If our board is lacking
communication, and no board meetings were meet, our club will surely sink in
quick sand.
