[WIham] Working on a Heathkit HW-202

Thanks Nels. My neighbor down the block knew I
was a ham and gave me some stuff he thought was
ham gear, but was actually 23 channel CB radios. That's why I have some mics.
I also have this Johnson stand mic. It has a
Shure magnetic element and a round 4-pin
connector. Would that work, without a preamp?
And yet, it's labor of love. I have lots of 2
meter gear around, including a Kenwood Trio
TR-9000 that I still use for sideband.
Come to think of it, I have a Regency HR-212 2m
xcvr too. I should see if I can get that to
play. It has 6 Tx and 6 Rx crystals in it, and
uses the same phase modulation scheme and same crystal formula as the HW-202.
How's Dave? I've spoken to him once since he left
MCTS and went to New Flyer. I think he went to
New Flyer. Is he still doing that?
Thanks for the info!
