[W8MWA] Advisory: "Impressive" Environment for Tornadoes in Marion & Mion Coiunties

The NWS Pittsburgh has informed us that there is an. “impressive environment currently for strong tornadoes in Wetzel/Marion/Mon Counties in WV.”

This does not mean that tornadoes have developed, however there are strong cells northwest of us—some identified as tornadic--tracking in our general direction.

Note: Due to the above, the North Central West Virginia Skywarn Net has  been activated in Standby Mode on the W8MWA repeater. Check-ins are not required, but we request that you monitor the W8MWA repeater and, importantly, let us know that you are monitoring and available if needed.

Please remain weather aware throughout the afternoon and evening.
