[W8MWA] Cancellations

Hi, All:


As with many of you, I have been looking forward to meeting in the WVU
stadium press box on Tuesday.  Also, as with many of you, I have been
watching the continuing reveal of information concerning the COVID 19
virus.  Having discussed this with the other MWA officers, I have decided
to cancel this month's meeting at the stadium - hoping we can reschedule at
a later date this year.

With the same considerations in mind, it seems additionally prudent to
cancel our March meeting entirely, instead of meeting in close quarters at
the Red Cross office.

In other but related news, I have been receiving messages from friends and
associates throughout North America this afternoon - telling me that
Hamvention 2020 has been cancelled.  For those of you with room
reservations, please contact your hotel.

Please take personal care and exercise precautions for your own health and
that of your loved ones, during this time.  This is a unique challenge for
us all.
