Hi Jan

I eventually purchased an IC-7300 from a dealer in the UK with a 
matching desktop speaker thrown in as a free gift (not sure at the end 
of the day if it is really a free gift).

It arrived here two weeks ago, and I have been playing around with it 
since then, I have to say that I am really impressed with the rig, and 
have had good reports from stations both on signal strength and audio, 
just running barefoot.  All in all I am very happy with my new ‘7300.  I 
especially like the receiver and the audio that comes out of the speaker.

Bruce ZD7VC visited me a couple of evenings ago, and he too liked the 
rig and was very impressed with it. He worked a few stations on it, and 
I have invited him back again so that he can do some serious Dxing with 
the new ‘’7300.

PS Thank you Jan for your offer of being of service to me in the 
future.  I’m sure I’ll need something in due course and thank you for 
your past service to the ZD7’s. I want to keep the ZD7FT station on the 
air for as long as I can.
