Hi All, 

Well over 12 years ago, I started ARES in Hunterdon county, after serving as the
District Emergency coordinator for 7 of those years, i stepped down to allow Glenn to take over.
Although I loved doing it, I realized that every organization needs a new leader in it for
new ideas....Glenn did that and so did Doug. Both of them kept me in the loop as a courtesy.

For ARES in Hunterdon County to continue, ARES needs some one to take the reins....Now it's not
that difficult, as all of the hard work, has already been done. The emergency plans have been
set up, the ARES personnel lists have been created and updated, and the Yahoo groups with info
on go kits, rigs, antennas, etc have already been set up. The only thing an An Emergency
coordinator (EC) needs to do is fill out a monthly report, have a few drills and be able to take 
charge in the event of an emergency, by activating the phone call out list....Once that happens you
give out assignments as to who goes where and the Served Agency takes over....That it!
Its not that hard, all it takes is a little time and effort....
