I heard this through a friend who works in the NA Recreation Department. =
 Apparently, the weekend of field day coincides with an event this year =
in which all of the zoo animals will be treated for exposure to ozone.   =
As I heard it, the parks department has contracted a very large =
environmental firm who will be supplying trucks with huge vats in which =
the animals will be "dipped."  This process creates a nasty odor which =
can lead to nausea and for that reason the park will be closed June 27 =
and June 28, leaving us only the 29th to operate.  If you search for =
"ozone zoo" on the Internet you will find websites that document this =
ridiculous process that does nothing more than increase the methane gas =
output  of some pygme goats and donkeys.
