I have a tape sourced from the radio from 1961 (I think 61) which has the
blue in the face. I wonder where the difference came in?

Maybe it was just blue in North Dakota where I recorded it. And, please
don't anyone reference the cold and blue as being related.

Sorry bout the confusion.

Duane, I will attempt to get the blue version on the CD I am making for you.

Gerry

Sorry my friend, but you are mistaken.

Rolf Harris did the song "Tie Me Kangaroo Down", but the song you are
quoting lyrics from is by Charlie Drake and is titled "My Boomerang Won't
Come Back".

I just played the USA release, the original 45 rpm single, and it definitely

says "black in the face".
