[Vintage-Audio] fm antenna

Michael,
A simple and effective solution, I use it myself, is to use a splitter from
the TV beam and feed both the TV and the FM tuner. I have DSS satellite, but
kept the directional beam and rotor for local stations. It works very well,
even though the impedence and frequency match is not perfect.
I easily pull stations from 100 miles on FM in stereo.
If you have an outsie TV antenna, but no signal boost amp for it, add one.
Not expensive, very effective!
If you have no outside TV antenna, what about using a wire around the house
unver the eves? Neighbors can not see it.
Frankly, almost anything should work for a 100,000 watt FM station at that
distance! I can get that using my finger on the antenna terminal, so maybe
the problem is the tuner Michael? It should receive better than you describe
using anything for an antenna.
