[Vintage-Audio] Dynaco AF-6 questions

I just got an AF-6 from that auction place to go with the PAS-3 (I
think) and ST-120 from the Knoxville hamfest last weekend and a pair of
A-25's I bought new in 1970.

The AF-6 works as advertised, that is, FM good, AM dead. Also, the "FM
Tuned" light is out and the "Stereo" lamp is always lit. The FM
performance is fine, with good stereo. I read somewhere that the Tuned
and Stereo lamps are not just indicators, but are important to the
circuitry. I gather they aren't available any more and it was suggested
to replace them with LED's and proper dropping resistance.

Are the lights important, and what is the proper dropping resistance for
LED's?

My real hobby is tube type amateur radio equipment. There's absolutely
no chance of my trouble shooting something with a thousand small parts
on half-dozen circuit boards.

Anyone know about AF-6's and its lights?
