[Vintage-Audio] Re Air Suspension Speakers

Indeed. I had a 58 with air suspension, the J2 (three deuces) and three on
the tree in 1962.
Now to make it kind of related to vintage audio, it also had the removable
transistor radio. You could trip a release in the glove box and take your
hi-fi AM transistor with you out of the dash.
I know it's a stretch but it is rare vintage audio of sorts.

Gerry:
My error! It was a 1958 (I have 1968 on my mind because I've been spending
much of my time recently working on my 1968 Corvette), and a convertible to
boot.
It was common back then to see the Oldsmobiles with air-suspension flat on
the ground. A proper fix was expensive, but one could just get in, start
the engine and wait a few minutes for the pump to fill the bladders . . . if
they were not leaking too badly.
