[Vintage-Audio] Re Air Suspension Speakers

Gerry: If my '58 had that feature, I was not aware of it.

I don't think it's so much of a stretch, really. In those days automobile
radios more than held their own against "consumer" radios, or systems.

The speakers . . . well, that's another story!

Barrie

I know it's a stretch but it is rare vintage audio of sorts.

Gerry:

My error! It was a 1958 (I have 1968 on my mind because I've been spending
much of my time recently working on my 1968 Corvette), and a convertible to
boot.

It was common back then to see the Oldsmobiles with air-suspension flat on
the ground. A proper fix was expensive, but one could just get in, start
the engine and wait a few minutes for the pump to fill the bladders . . . if
they were not leaking too badly.
