[PARC] Club meeting

Personally I am surprised by the membership response
to inviting new membership in to the club, only because
the belong to another club. I thought all hams were welcome
and more input would be a good thing.

On a personal, a fair number of those at our meetings are not
paid members but they get to vote on club maters anyways.

COVID opens a new door to most of us. Travelling to various club
meeting was not possible, covid and zoom allows us the option to
attend other club meeting and see what and how they are dealing with
issues as they come up.

Just my two cents worth.

I don’t mind at all. I was hoping this might be a welcome partnership between clubs. For a lot of years we foxhunted together. We had what we call the tour of the county fox hunt spring and fall. Lots of times there were 5 or 6 teams from PARC.

Hi Steven
Our club policy has always been anyone is welcome to join our meetings. We often have friends of our members join the meetings.
I was thinking with our new partnership at Baltimore it would be a good idea to get to know each other’s members.
The invite is still there for anyone who wants to join the QARC meeting.
Just curious, if a group of us were to show up at the door after you go back to in person meetings would we be allowed in?
No hard feelings. I just don’t think they thought this through.

Good morning Dave, recently you made a offer
that any PARC member could join the PERC zoom
meeting. Well I made the offer to the club membership.

You might want to see what your membership response is
like to us making the same offer.

While I thought is was great idea, the membership did not.
Go figure.
