[PARC] Funeral arrangements for Neil, VE3AXG

Hi, everyone.

 

Nina, VE3IRK has just learned from Neil's family what the funeral
arrangements are.  Apparently, he planned everything, right down to the
hymns, where flowers should go, and the writing of his own obituary, which
is in this morning's Globe

 

The viewing will take place at Comstock-Kaye Funeral Home on Monday, March
26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.  The funeral will take place at the funeral home
at 1:00, Tuesday, March 27, Rev. Jonathan Baird presiding.

 

Of particular interest to those who meet for coffee at the Timmie's that we
call the Squeaky Wheel is that the body will be taken to St. Peter's crypt
right across from that restaurant.  As Nina pointed out to me, whenever
we're there, we'll be able to raise a cup of coffee to him.

 

When the ground has thawed sufficiently, Neil will be buried with his wife
and other family members near Carnarvyn (spelling).
