[PARC] ARRL Rookie Round up.

Something for our new hams is on the air this weekend.  The ARRL 
Rookie Roundup.    If any of the new hams have anything at all set up 
for HF   I would encourage you to give it a try  even if its one or 
two contacts.




The Rookie Roundup is to encourage newly-licensed operators 
(“Rookies”) in North America (including Provinces  territories and 
possessions) to operate on the HF bands and experience competitive 
Amateur Radio operating. Experienced operators (“Non-Rookies”) are 
strongly encouraged to participate and help new operators – either 
on the air or in person.




Any new hams licenced in 2016 to now are encouraged to participate and 
submit logs.   for the rest of us are encouraged to participate as non 
rookies we (non rookies)  can only contact other rookies and cannot 
submit logs for scoring but should submit check logs.
