[PARC] Very sad news

Hi, everyone.

 

I've just spoken with Nina, VE3IRK, who told me that at approximately 9:00,
Neil Rogers, VE3AXG became a silent key.

 

He was in hospital at the time, and members of his family were able to chat
with him just before he passed.

 

Because his grandson Cameron, VE3YHC is away at university and just about to
write exams, and because Cameron's sister is currently in Paris, France, no
funeral arrangements have been made as yet.

 

Neil hasn't been able to join us for club functions for several months now,
but we sure have lots of memories, don't we?

 

I'm sure Nina will let us know if and when funeral arrangements are made.

 

I know that Neil and Nina were very close friends.  I'm sure you'll join me
in passing along condolences to Nina for the loss of a very special friend.
