[PARC] PARC minutes, January, 2018

Dave, VE3SD called the meeting to order at 7:31.  Following introductions,
Devon, DEV read December's minutes, and moved approval.  Seconded by Mark,
HMP.  Carried.

 

Barry, BLM, presented the treasurer's report.  Petty cash: $465.88.  GIC:
$844.34.  PARC: $2,868.98.

 

ACTGIVITIES.  Barry, BLM said that the Christmas dinner went off very well.
Dave, SD said that Winter Field Day at the end of January will be moving to
Trent University.

 

TECHNICAL.  Rick, IQZ said that there's still no word about the location of
TJR.RTR is now up and running.

 

WEB SITE.  Harmen, EMA said that there has been quite a bit of interest in
our Spring course.  Start date is March 6.  Exam date: June 18.

 

ARES.  John, VL wasn't able to make the meeting, so no report.

 

NEW BUSINESS.  Len, LRM told us that the CQ Canada net is on at 9 p.m. each
Wednesday.

 

OLD BUSINESS.  Barry, BB reminded us that last year, Paul, KBI said he would
provide us with a list of contacts for all members.  He asked where it might
be.  Dave, SD said he'll need to check into that.

 

Harmen, EMA told us that he has a number of back issues of 73 Magazine.  If
we come with an sd card, he will copy them.
