[PARC] PARC Minutes, December, 2017

Dave, VE3SD called the meeting to order at 7:31.  Following introductions,
Devon, DEV read November's minutes, and moved approval.  Jerry, JLW
seconded.  Carried.

 

Bary, BLM presented the treasurer's report.  Petty cash: $332.38.  GIC:
$844.34.  PARC: $3,516.96.

 

Activities.  Dave, SD said that we need to hear from people planning to come
to the Christmas dinner by December 6.

 

ARES.  Dave announced that John, VL is our new Emergency Co-ordinator.
Congratulations, John!

 

Technical.  Rick, IQZ told us that we haven't heard anything as yet about
where TJR will be.  TJR is up and running.

 

Len, LRM reported that there was a lower turnout for the Rally of The Tall
Pines.  There was an accident resulting in a tree catching fire and a broken
shoulder.  All emergency procedures previously set up worked very well.

 

Ken, VE3KP shared a few tips and tricks with us, and Steve, VE3PTA did an
excellent presentation on his collection of old radios.
