[TVARC] Fwd: 1960's Equipment Still State-of-the-Art

In the movie "Independence Day", The massive alien ships shut down the
world.  Once we figured out how to attack them, the order went out to
notify the rest of the world how to do it.  The communication method? CW!!
The aliens were able to shut down all satellites but they could not shut
down the ionosphere.
