Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList,

Be sure to check-out the excellent article entitled “New RF Exposure Rules,” by Bert Garcia (N8NN), in the September 2021 issue of the ARRL Northern Florida Section’s e-newsletter. If you have not completed the FCC required RF Exposure calculations for your amateur radio station, then this article will certainly get you kick-started in the right direction. It’s chock full of helpful tools and references to help you complete these calculations. The most important tools mentioned in this article are these:
ARRL’s online "RF Exposure Calculator” tool;
Instructions & parameters document for that calculator; and
Station Evaluation Worksheet.
Now’s there no excuse to keep procrastinating about doing those RF Exposure calculations for your ham station.
