I have a 5BTV that I bought from N4FP when I moved here.  I bought the
30-meter add-on coil to make it a 6BTV.  You definitely need a radial
field for it; I have about 65 radials in a 3/4 pie pattern and it does
well on 40 and 30 in this age of low sunspots.  While the price is ok,
figure on an antenna mount, radial plate, wire, ground staples and a
current choke to cost the same if not more.  DX Engineering has the stuff
that is great quality.
