[TrunkCom] scanner recommendations?

Will there be new software for this unit, or will there be software that has 
been around or both?
    Hopefully the mention of a keypad will yield some promising results. 
This may not be obvious in terms of accessibility, but with some software 
like the Win-96 program you could save your programming file as a .csv file 
and then go from there.  From what I've heard the person who designed that 
program did not have accessibility in mind.
    After all is said and done I am hoping that god forbid they don't have 
encryption here on the new 700 Project-25 system here in Western NY, except 
for the obvious
