IT should work fine for the ANALOG Talk Groups, as for
the AP-25 Talk Groups, al lou will hear is a buzzing
noise like I do on my Pro-92B when I monitor the local
sysatem that I listen to in Ohio.
You will need a newer digital capable radio scanner
like the BCD996T or the Pro-96. Both will handle
Motorola Multi-Site Talk Groups.
If you do NOT care for Multi-Site or do NOT need it
then other Uniden digital capable radio scanenrs will
work. Rememeber digtial does NOT mean encrypted.
P-25 is an OPEN system but it can be encrypted if the
users so chosse to do so.
Radi oReference lists this systme as being in
Mecklenburg County. I did NOT see any "D" or Digital
Talk Groups on the page as of now. I am sure that if
it says Analog and P-25, it will change.
