[TrunkCom] APCO-25 and BC-78oXLT

I notice the new Mint Hill, NC system is using Motorola type II Smartnet.
System voice : Analog and APCO-25 Common Air Interface.

Will my BC-780XLT scanner work with this system?  Or what type of
scanner do I  need.  I haven't tried programing the BC-780XLT yet, but
did not want to go to the trouble of doing it and not working.

Also, what is a good piece of software to do this.  Before I put in all
the Mecklenburg Co. frequencies by hand.
