I totally agree with that statement.

Heck, let's take it even farther and stick with analog conventional  
and work on the biggest issue of interoperability which is the  
people. Good training and planning and then some more training and  
planning goes a lot farther than any type of system.

My point about P25 is just sort of what you mention, it's already  
difficult and complex as it is dealing within just one platform  
(P25), now throw in there 2 or 3 more (OpenSky, ProVoice, etc.)  
platforms and we'll be worst of than what we started.
