I'm pretty familiar with all of this. Yeah, it "interfaces" by adding  
more crap and money and effort, just like analog conventional also  
interfaces with digital trunked, by adding more complexity and points  
of failure and it'll never be the same as platform to platform.

Heck, if you ask me, let's stick with analog and save all that money  
to use for better things like levies in New Orleans.....
