[TrunkCom] new kind of EDACS in use in Maryland

I guess so, Here in Michigan with the MPSCS as being very influential and
users getting various grants from homeland security people are making the
move to MPSCS as quickly as possible and for those who are not there yet
for whatever reason there are a lot of patches to VHF/UHF and other
trunking systems. Across the pond however, in Ontario we have another
story with about a 50-50 split between Motorola and EDACS, both AEGIS and
ProVoice.
I'd still be interested to know if the control channels for both
EDACS with ESK and this new EDACS using LCN-0 is any different from EDACS
wide or narrow. I know that narrow banded EDACS has a hallow type sound
to it.
