Does anyone have a more up to date talkgroup list than the one posted on
radioreference.com for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg system? I'm hearing South
Dispatch on an investigator's t/g, etc.
Also looking for response area maps.

I was at a site yesterday in Rock Hill and noticed several DB809's, a
microwave dish, a new shelter and lots of 7/8" hardline. Looks like it all
belongs to York Co for their new 15 ch trs. Anyone have the inside scoop on
when the system will be operational and whether it will be analog or
digital? A former employer is doing the microwave work and told me that
they are building a system that will link together 9 counties in NC/SC using
homeland security money.

One thing doesn't make much sense here, so maybe someone could shed some
light. I found the licenses for the new York Co system on the fcc site and
noticed that most freq's are in the 866-869 range. With the Nextel
rebanding coming up for this area soon, I'm curious why they were not issued
freq's in the 851-860 range. This is where Nextel will move them when the
rebanding starts. (I am a field ops tech w/ Nextel).
