It works Jeff, it's just a process of elimination and I've used it for a
few years to map out new systems, including 900-MHz narrowband systems.
I would add that you should drop out of trunking mode to see what channel
you've stopped on, i.e. when you hear activity on the system, drop out of
trunking mode and (for example) you'll see you're on LCN 4, now you know
what frequency corresponds to LCN 4. Lock it out and do the same process
for the next frequency until you've mapped out every LCN. The method
works on every trunking model that supports EDACS.
