Correct me if I am wrong but here goes: It seems that
the Pro-96 is your best bet. Why? Well because it
has Intelligent Adaptive Tuning; the Uniden ones do
NOT. You have to fiddle around with the audio
settings for each digital site and that becomes a real
pain when youtry to listen to a system like Ohio
M.A.R.C.S. which uses Repeaters based on Voting and
Affiliations. Now if you want to lsiten to one single
digtial site @ a time, well then Uniden is better.
Also, the Uniden ones will track Standar/Regular
L.T.R. in addition to APCO P-25 Motorla, and
E.D.A.C.S.
The Pro-96 only tracks, to this date; P-25, Type I,
Type 2, Type 2I, and P-25 Moto, and Analog E.D.A.C.S.,
plus upadtes are avaiable through the Internet
although a recent update required that yuo sent the
unit to Texas. I believe that all the new units
should have this (TALK GROUP)problem solved.

"WESOLYCH SWIAT BOZEGO NARODZENIA I SZCZESLIWEGO NOWEGO ROKU" from the Albion Village Area of Strongsville. Albion Village was once an actual independent municipality. In case, you haven't guessed, that is Polish for "Happy World, Christ Is Born, and a Lucky New Year".
