The REAL answer is 65536/16 = 4096 TGs. 3600 systems TGs are in steps of
16, not 32, even though many systems use steps of 32. Some actually use
the minimum steps of 16. The other 15 'TGs' between each TG are for the
ststus bits, of which there are 15 following the base TG.

I don't know where some of this other math is coming from
(like 65536/32=20,xxx).

Including the status bits, there are 65536 TGs. (0-65535)

BTW, a P25 system can have 65536 TGs. They can use steps of 1.

These are all minus a couple TGs that are reserved.
