[TrunkCom] Trunk Tracking Receivers

Hello Group ,  Today is my first day on this reflector and I need some help. I have a large collection of receivers and transceivers but I have never operated a trunk tracking receiver. About two years ago I was issued a Motorola STX-2000 Flashport HT. It operates with the Caddo Parish "County" E-911 analog trunked radio system. The largest city connected to this system is Shreveport Louisiana. My questions are; If I purchase a trunk tracking receiver must I know all of the "talk groups" and "frequencies" to hear every department that is connected to this system or do I just need to load the "frequencies" and the trunk tracker will automatically load the "talk groups" for me ? I know that this must be a very common question but again I have never even seen a TT other than in a catalog or magazine. My other question is ; What is the best website to locate these "talk groups" for the Caddo Parish/Shreveport Louisiana trunked radio system if I need them and does any member have the "talk groups" to forward to me ?
