A pretty good scanner recorder is Scanner Recorder. Who would have guessed?

Go to www.davee.com/scanrec and download it. It's easy to set up, you just
have to get your connection to the sound card and make the appropriate setup
of your sound card software, and off it goes. It records it as a .WAV file,
so your computer's audio player should work just fine for playback. I use
it quite often. It does not read the scanner, so it doesn't know what
frequency the audio is coming from, but it does make a log file of times and
audio duration.
