[TrunkCom] cost of upgrading from 3600 to 9600 BAUD?

Hi everyone.  I am just wondering with all the talk of digital
scanners coming  how much would it cost agencies to upgrade controlers to
9600 BAUD?  I am still considering the  purchase of a scanner even though
it is sounding like we won't have the 9600 BAUD right now.  What it will
depend on is whether or not Chicago or any areas around there are using
3600 or 9600 with some of the Astro stuff around there?  Where I am now in
Grosse Pointe, we still have 3600 BAUD and there is no talk about
upgrading control channels. and as far as I know everyone else around here
with the exception of the state who is digital is using 3600.  In fact, I
was talking to a fellow ham on the local repeater who is down river and he
said that he heard analogue on there a few weeks ago.
