[TrunkCom] Motorola radios with the capabilities of working with EDACS systems?

Hi everyone.  I was reading some information on the web about the city of
Corpus Christy, Texas and there EDACS system which is a mixed analogue and
digital system with digital being used by detectives and narcotics teams
On the page that I saw which was Warren Whitby's homepage which by the way
is outdated by a long shot he mentioned that one of the military
installations near there was going to be using a Motorola Astro Saber to
be used on the EDACS system.  I was a bit surprised at that because I had
always been under the impression that Motorola won't work on EDACS and
EDACS won't work on Motorola.
